Another strong hint that the experts have been making, is at a waterproof iPhone 7. Many do not know this yet, but the iPhone 6 range is partially waterproof. Even though the smartphone does not sport an IPX rating, Apple has been trying to waterproof their devices since last year, and the iPhone 6 is the result of that experiment.
However, Apple does not choose to be held liable if your iPhone 6 is affected by liquid damage. Hence, it does not mention waterproofing on the label.Apple has been working on technology that ejects water from the peripheral components, but just recently they have filed a patent for a technology which self-heals on liquid damage!
It is possible that this technology will be used on the iPhone 7, although, we can neither confirm nor deny its presence on the upcoming smartphone. Speaking on the price of the device, we don’t expect the iPhone 7 to be cheap. In fact, it should be in the range of $850 – $950.
