Apple iPad Air 3 Will Most Likely Be Called The 9.7-Inch iPad Pro, Will Feature a Better Camera Than The 12.9-Inch iPad Pro!

A number of rumors regarding the iPad Air 3 from the house of Apple have been doing rounds on the internet for quite some time now. Its predecessor, the iPad Air 2 was rolled out by Apple back in October 2014. Thus, it was being speculated that the Apple would launch the iPad Air 3 in October 2015.

However, the Cupertino-based company refrained from doing so and the latest reports suggest that the iPad Air 3 might finally see the light of the day in Apple’s March event. The device will reportedly be thinner and lighter compared to its predecessor. It will also sport a fingerprint scanner for added security.

The special event which is scheduled to be held in March will introduce a number of other Apple devices like the Apple Watch 2 and the iPhone 5SE alongside the iPad Air 3. The event is scheduled for March 21.

This is going to be the first product event of Apple in 2016. FBI has requested Apple to unblock an Apple phone that has been used by a suspect involved in the San Bernardino, California terror attack.Apple is to appear before the court of law to provide an answer to this particular motion on the very next day of the event.

As for the iPad Air 3, the latest reports claim that the ‘Air’ name will be removed from this particular lineup. Instead it will just be called the iPad Pro. The existent iPad Pro comes at a size of 12.9-inch. However, this new iPad Pro will have a size of 9.7-inch which is the size of its predecessor- the iPad Air 2.

Thus the new device can be touted as a smaller version of the iPad Pro. The iPad Pro was rolled out by Apple back in November 2015. It came with an 8-megapixel camera.

However, the new iPad Pro will get an overhaul in this department and various reports claim that it will come with a 12-megapixel camera. The camera will be accompanied with a single LED flash which will ensure decent photography even under low light conditions.

Similar to the original iPad Pro, the smaller version will boast the powerful A9X processor under its hood. It will come with the support for the Apple Pencil Stylus and the new range of Smart Keyboards.

An in-built Smart Connector on the device will be used to connect external keyboards to the device. The display of the device will be more advanced than its predecessor and it will come with the Anti-glare feature. A four speaker setup will ensure that the device produces excellent quality music.

A 4K resolution display is also on the cards regarding this device, however there has been no official confirmation behind this claim as of yet. The powerful processor of the device will likely be accompanied with 4GB of RAM to ensure seamless functioning.

The new iPad Pro will come loaded with the FaceTime feature. A HD camera on its front will enable users to use this particular feature.

Overall, the device will be quite similar to the existent version of iPad Pro. However, there are some differences between the two devices too. The iPad Pro comes with the measurements of 305.7 x 220.6 x 6.9mm and it weighs in at 723g.

However, since the new iPad Pro will be smaller than the existent one, it will naturally have smaller measurements and a lesser weight. If the device has a similar form factor like the iPad Air 2, it will most likely come with the measurements of 240 x 169.6 x 6.15mm.
