With regards to jailbreaking iOS 8.2 and 8.3, sources say that jailbreaking for these versions of iOS has been achieved, but is held back by the makers for specific reasons. According to the source, the makers are holding back the jailbreak because it can be patched very easily by Apple in the iOS 8.4. To avoid this they are waiting for the rollout of the new 8.4 update and only then will they be interested to release the jail break.
If speculations and reports over iOS 9 ends up being true, then iPhone users can be definitely sure that the jailbreaks for iOS 8.2 and iOS 8.3 will be rolled out in the near future. It is very difficult to say how hard iOS 9 will be to break into. With no solid information about Rootless it is impossible to find the exact level of difficulty to break through the system, until it is out in the market.
If users are interested to jailbreak their iPhones then they should refrain from upgrading their devices to iOS 8.4 or iOS 9.
