Android 5.1.1 Lollipop Updates For Samsung and Motorola Devices, More Information

Samsung has currently confirmed the Android 5.1.1 updates for their devices like Galaxy S5, S6, S6 Edge and also Note 4. Along with their partner carriers, Samsung has recently updated their Galaxy S6 and S6 users with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

According to Gospel Herald, the partner carriers that have so far confirmed the update are Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile and AT&T. Sprint has already started rolling out their updates for devices like Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge. Furthermore, an IB Times reports suggests that a Canadian operator will most likely roll out Android 5.1.1 Lollipop for the latest device Galaxy Note Edge within the month of August.

For now, it is only T-Mobile who has confirmed the update but various other carriers have already issued statements that they will be releasing the update very soon for people who are making use of Samsung Galaxy S5. Meanwhile, according to Gotta Be Mobile, Galaxy S6 Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update will be rolled out with various new and exciting features included in it.

The StageFright Patch is the latest and the most important update that will be rolled out with this release.
