He finally manages to convince her that learning more about him is something that she doesn’t really need to do. Winchell, while explaining his character in Season 2 states that, “Ben makes money very creatively and his shady deals may or may not backfire on him this season. You never really know what his true intentions are, so he’s always going to keep you guessing,”
Meanwhile, the trailer shows that Carter is actually working in a bar in order to save up. An older, rugged man, named Jared will be played by Twilight star Jason Rathbone and he will serve as a romantic interest for Carter. MTV declared what we can expect from Season 2 of Finding Carter.
According to them, Carter will decide to drop out of school in order to figure out her own path and she will lie her way into a job as a bartender and there she will see herself in a whole new light. At the same time, she will also introduce her inner circle to a racy, underground party circuit.
Carter’s fast, new lifestyle showcased in Season 2 will be the perfect replacement for the tedium of high school. However, it will speed out of control soon enough and she is going to need her family more than ever.
Viewers should know that Jared, 25 is much older than Carter who is still in high school at the moment. Whitesell indicated that Carter will not be revealing her age to Jared at first and even after he finds out, both of them will eventually figure out a way to make it work.
