After Fallout 4, Bethesda Could Release Elder Scrolls 6 As Late As 2019, More News

Meanwhile, Pete Hines said this earlier, “We do smaller stuff, we don’t publish to scale, we try to publish to quality. Make sure everything we do is noteworthy. Our approach to that hasn’t differed. Here and there we might change our approach to how it’s presented but we’ve still stuck to who we are.”

There was a more recent interview with Pete Hines talked to DualShockers at Gamescom 2015 and he clarified that Skyrim 2 or Elder Scrolls 6 won’t be happening anytime soon. He mentions that he doesn’t think we are even close to hear anything about Elder Scrolls 6.

At that time, Hines declared that the studio is giving its 100% to Fallout 4. Fallout 4 has already released but now the entire team is probably focused on its maintenance and subsequent release of DLCs.

Therefore, you should expect to see the next Elder Scrolls 6 update on 2017 and probably not before that. In terms of location, the game could be set in Valenwood or Elsweyr. There are also a bunch of speculations involving the title with names like Redguard, Argonia and Skyrim 2 being thrown into the mix.
