Adam Lambert: Starts On His Original High Tour, Will Be Touring In Summer With Queen!

Lambert had met Brian May and Roger Taylor for the first time in American Idol, when the two of them had backed Adam Lambert for his version of We Are The Champions. The two of them were so impressed with Lambert that they asked him to step in and fill the place of their lead vocalist Freddie Mercury after he passed away.

Adam Lambert is going to collaborate with Queen again for their tour of Europe. The singer is very excited about the summer tour that has been planned.

Lambert is multi-talented. The singer is soon going to make his foray back into the television screen with the TV film The Rocky Horror Show. Lambert will play the role of delivery boy Eddie in the remake of the classic movie and will be joined by Laverne Cox, Reeve Carney, Staz Nair, Ryan McCartan and Victoria Justice. Lambert is psyched about this opportunity since The Rocky Horror Show is one of his favorite cult movie and he is looking forward to be in it.

Adam Lambert has openly talked about how his voice is his only source of livelihood and has even gone ahead to get in insured for a whopping $42 million dollars. The singer has unabashedly said that if Jennifer Lopez could insure her derriere then he can easily insure one of his most precious possession.

Lambert recently played a tribute to David Bowie in the pre-Grammy party and was a highlight of the night’s musical performance.

  5. Adam is really quite a normal guy, not really eccentric, but creative. In real life not the makeup wearing guy of 7 years ago finding his niche, much like Bowie, Gaga & Elton John did in their early days. The gay label & media’s preoccupation with it does him a disservice. It’s not an issue for his fans who realize it’s just a small part of the smart, multi-talented man who just wants to entertain. His focus is on his music & his other career opportunities. Now Adam’s a grown man whose tastes are more elegant and edgy. He wears high end beautifully tailored designer suits, tee shirts & jeans like anyone else. People of all ages, races & gender attend his concerts with no concern that anything objectionable will occur. He’s a master showman, able to sing any genre of music authentically. He puts on a fantastic show that never disappoints. Seeing him live is a gift for the eyes & ears. I’ve seen him 15X & will see him again in Chicago. Don’t miss it!
