2017 Hyundai Ioniq: Technical Specifications Under the Scanner, Expected to Take on the Toyota Prius and the Chevrolet Bolt EV!

Hyundai is also dedicated to learning the ways of the market, and even though they need to meet the stricter emission norms of the market, they are well on their tracks. Hyundai is working on advanced fuel-cell technology, which is slated to make the world a cleaner place within the next decade.

The Ioniq is also on its way to making Hyundai one of the top 2 auto manufacturers in the world by 2020, if things go according to plan. The company plans to launch hybrid and plug-in hybrid models in every segment of the market, once the Ioniq is successfully launched.

Hyundai claims to have saved millions of dollars in R&D, thanks to their three-in-one electrified vehicle. Even though Toyota has made quite an effort in making the latest Prius fun to drive, it is no match for the Ioniq’s Sport mode, which is as much fun as you can have in an EV!

Hence, if you think all electric vehicles are boring, you need to take a trip through Tesla’s stables, and if a Tesla is too expensive, you can always settle down for a Hyundai Ioniq without batting an eyelid!
