Other sources also indicate that Apple will be holding a special launch event in March 2016. The latest speculations involving the iPad Pro further indicate that Apple will be launching a laptop next month doesn’t sound plausible but it is more likely that a new Macbook Pro 2016 will be released.

International Data Collection Program Director Ryan Reith said during an interview that the iPad Pro serves as a kind of an Apple stop-gap solution. It serves as a kind of an in-between until a more portable design is offered to the Mac Lineup by the Cupertino tech giant.

This will further fuse the Apple iPad Pro’s aesthetics with desktop-level internals. In case Apple is really following its path, the news of an iPad Pro reveal makes it clear that the MacBook is actually intended for a 2016 release.

The upcoming tablet will be a refreshed version instead of a follow-up. Under the hood, the new iteration will include everything present in the current iPad Pro. It will have an A9X processor paired with the same amount of RAM, which should be at least 4GB. However, keep it in mind that the supposed addition has a comparatively smaller 9.7inch display.
